Fitness experts concur that running or walking every day is one of the best ways to get and remain in shape, but it is not always safe or practical to do so on "the open road." If your free time is in the wee hours of the morning or late at night, or if your route is along a road with heavy or high-speed traffic, surviving the journey may become your top priority, which misses the purpose of the activity. Additionally, running in the snow, precipitation, hail, rain, or blazing sun is neither enjoyable nor prudent. A treadmill exercise is the solution to these issues. There are health clubs and gyms that offer treadmill exercises to their members, but you may have decided that the club or gym in your area has inconvenient hours, inconvenient locations, or you would rather not have an audience when you exercise.
